Bryanna Clark Grogan, cookbook author and cooking instructor, says: “I love this machine! I make 6 batches of great soymilk a week in it, and have had no problems! … Many people find the cost of commercial soymilk to be prohibitive and have invested in a wonderful machine that cooks and grinds the soybeans and makes soymilk, fresh in your own home! It also eliminates the cartons that accumulate! Homemade soymilk is extremely inexpensive-- I figure that it costs me under 12 cents (Canadian) per quart! (And that's using organic soybeans!) My machine has paid for itself within a few months!”
Bryanna has devoted over 35 years to the study of cooking and nutrition, the last 15 to vegan cooking. Her cookbooks include Soyfoods Cooking for a Positive Menopause, Dairy-Free and Delicious, and other vegan cookbooks such as The (Almost) No-Fat Cookbook and 20 Minutes to Dinner. She has written various columns and reviews for newspapers and magazines, and is a “resident expert” and moderator of the New Vegetarian discussion board on vegsource.com website. Bryanna has conducted cooking workshops and classes throughout North America, and the main focus of her cooking is low-fat vegan cooking, particularly ethnic cooking. Vickilynn Haycraft, a well-known product reviewer and author, recently conducted a soymilk maker comparison between the SoyQuick™, SoyaJoy, and SoyToy brands. She concludes: “Of the three machines tested, my personal choice for my own family and the one that I recommend is the SoyQuick… An important reason that I am using and recommending the SoyQuick is because the SoyQuick is UL listed (both in the U.S. and Canada)… The instructions are detailed and helpful, the machine works easily, quickly and produces excellent nondairy beverages. The company is friendly and available via phone, fax or email and very willing to help the customer (even after the sale). The cost of the machine has been recouped by saving the money previously spent on commercial nondairy milks. The tofu kit and coagulator included in my order worked easily and produced a mild, delicious tofu. I use this machine regularly in my kitchen and recommend it highly.”
Vickilynn has over two decades of experience using and market-testing different products and tools of the homemaking vocation, focusing on those in the area of better health and nutrition. Vickilynn has written various books and articles, including Wrapping It Up! Making Sensational, All-Occasion Wrappers and Fabulous Family Meals and Real Food for Real Families. "Through the versatility of the SoyQuick™ Machine, I have added new dimensions to my cooking. From the grain, bean and nut milks, I've created wonderful soup stocks and grain dishes. I use the pulp for pates, desserts, and casseroles - nothing is wasted. Porridge made from whole grains, once required hours to reach perfection; with SoyQuick, it's ready in 15 minutes. I don't know how I managed without it!" Visit her website at: www.happystomach.com.

Vancouver Island Vegetarian Association (VIVA) conducted an independent review of five brands of soymilk makers in 2003. They compared SoyQuick™, SoyaJoy, SoyToy, SoyWonder, and Nutritionist, rating each machine on the following criteria: taste, price, cleanup, manual, quality, safety, convenience, and customer service. They declared SoyQuick as “the clear winner: good price, great quality, easy to clean, lots of tips in the manual… The SoyQuick basket has much less grooves to clean than others and no nooks and crannies for okara to get stuck in… The included cleaning cloth helps make cleanup quick… SoyQuick dominated largely [in the quality category] because of the filter cup with holes directly in the steel rather than wire mesh; the cup appears more solid… Only the SoyQuick is UL certified. Certification is essential to ensure mechanical and electrical safety. Only the SoyQuick has a spout, which is important for ease of pouring scalding fresh soymilk.” VIVA gave SoyQuick perfect scores for customer service, quality, safety, and convenience.
